John H. Reid, III is a native of Macon, Georgia and resided in the Washington DC area for over 28 years, and retired from service with the Federal government. He is an anointed man of God with a sincere desire to feed the flock of God with a message of hope for these last days. Jesus said, “If you love me feed my sheep.” He and his wife have recently retired from Pastoral ministry and now reside in the state of Georgia
His ministry roots are from Macon, GA where he was an ordained Elder and Evangelist with the Church of God in Christ, Southern Georgia Jurisdiction, and served as the presiding officiate over the ordination board for the jurisdiction. He also served for ten years at Cornerstone Christian Center where he was an Associate Pastor and as an instructor for four years at the Cornerstone Bible Institute. He retired from the government after 34 years and is now involved in full-time ministry.
He attended Savannah State College, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico and is a graduate of Mercer University. He has completed a Masters Program for Advanced Leadership Program from the University of North Carolina and has a Masters in Managing Change from Marymount University. He has a Doctorate in Divinity from Logos Christian University in 2014.
In addition to his pastoral duties he serves as a Bishop and is the General Secretary in the Eagle’s Rock Communion of Christian Leaders in support of the Honorable Bishop Eugene V. Reeves. He is active in the local community and has served as a past Co-President of the Prince William Co. Ministerial Association.
In July of 2003 Dr. John and Pastor Viviann officially opened the doors and established Victory Family Outreach Ministries, Inc. where he currently is the Senior Pastor. He served as the pastor for fifteen years and has been faithful to the ministry and labor of the Lord for over 49 years.
Dr. John and Pastor Viviann Reid have been married fifty-one years and he is the proud father of four sons, Alex, Warren, John IV, and Troy who is deceased, and have five grandchildren.
Dr. Reid is a visionary who believes in a church without walls for which his church motto affirms, “Reaching out to the lost, bringing all to the cross.” Through this ministry many have been saved, healed and delivered. He is a man of integrity and full of the Holy Spirit. He is presently serving as an Associate Professor with Ethnos College.
His unique style of bringing the Word of God to life through illustrative and practical teaching continues to stir the hearts of the hearers. In 2017 he officially launched the JRM School of Ministry designed to support clergy and leadership development in the Body of Christ.
He does not just desire to preach and teach the Word of God but his goal is to reach the people of God with the message that Jesus Christ can make a difference in the lives of God’s people.
